Marc Brédif Vouvray Chenin Blanc 2011, A.C., Loire, France: Lemongrass and lime zest with terrific mouth-watering acidity. Clean and crisp: ideal for many dishes from seafood to vegetarian dishes. Some green apple and citrus on a lively finish. This wine is a touch off-dry making it extremely versatile with spicy and hot dishes. Good bones and breeding here. Max Ferd. Richter Kabinett Riesling 2013, Wehlener Sonnenuhr, Mosel Prädikatswein, Germany: This German Riesling will dazzle your senses: it's almost blinding in its intensity of fruit and balancing acidity, like waking out from a dark cave into mid-afternoon sunshine. This QMP-designated wine has depths of apricot, peach and honeysuckle flavour. Medium-bodied, no oak, long finish. This vineyard is one of the most renowned in the Mosel region of Germany.
