François Lurton Pinot Gris 2010, Uco Valley, Argentina: Lovely white peach aromas in this flavourful pinot gris. Remarkable quality for the price point. Zippy notes of lime and citrus zest make it a great aperitif or companion to many dishes. Drink: 2010-2013. 556746 13% D 750 mL  $11.95 Score: 88/100. Pierre Sparr Réserve Pinot Gris 2009, A.C., Alsace, France: Absolutely fantastic, and a steal at this price! Gorgeous aromas of white peach and melon with just a hint of light spice on the finish. Medium- to full-bodied and delicious. Drink: 2012-2016. 983395 13.50% XD 750 mL  $14.95 Score: 90/100. April 14, 2012 Best Value White Wine. Full Review
Peter Zemmer Pinot Grigio 2010, D.O.C., Alto Adige, Italy: Vintages Wine Panel: Peter Zemmer is one of the Italian producers from the cool North who is sparing no detail in producing exceptional Pinot Grigio. He grows his vines on prime sites, reduces yields during the year and again on the sorting table, and then slowly ferments his wines in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats to achieve fine balance and optimum freshness. My note: Fresh and alive like spring white linens blowing in the breeze. Lime and lemon zest. Mouth-watering and medium-bodied. Drink: 2011-2015. 95802 13.50% XD 750 mL  $18.95 Score: 88/100. December 10, 2011 Best Value White Wine. Scrumptious Seafood Wine Full Review
The Ned Marisco Vineyards Ltd. Pinot Gris 2011, Waihopal River, Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand: Love it! I find many pinot gris boring, but this is spectacularly interesting. Glorious notes of white peach and Asian pear, with a lovely salmon hue. Perfect aperitif or companion to seafood, salads and roast chicken. Drink: 2012-2015. 267138 13.50% XD 750 mL  $16.95 Score: 91/100. March 17, 2012 Best Value White Wine. Full Review
