Domaine Joannet Bourgogne Michel Joannet Viticulteur Pinot Noir 2009, A.C., Hautes-Côtes De Nuits, Burgundy, France: Delightfully fleshy ripe black cherries and raspberries on the nose, silky smooth on the tongue and a lovely, long finish. Extremely versatile with food, from roast chicken to prime rib. Drink: 2011-2015. 265009 13% XD 750 mL  $21.95 Score: 89/100. March 17, 2012 Full Review
Château De Mercey Mercurey Domaine Rodet Pinot Noir 2009, A.C., Burgundy, France: A juicy pinot with pleasantly sour cherry and cranberry aromas and flavours. I love this style but its an acquired taste as it' not fruity or ripely sweet. Drink: 2011-2018. 264531 13% D 750 mL  $25.95 Score: 92/100. April 14, 2012 Top Rated Red Wine. Full Review
Louis Picamelot Brut Crémant De Bourgogne, A.C., Burgundy, France: Fantastic! Got a wedding or large gathering? Buy this one by the case. Toasty with fresh vibrant green apple aromas. Cheers! Louis Latour Pinot Noir 2009, A.C., Marsannay, Burgundy, France: Splendid pinot noir, especially for the price! Superb layers of mouth-watering black cherry and dark spice. Silky texture and a finish that almost doesn't end. Hedonists: line up for this one and save some for me. Drink: 2012-2017. 279018 13% XD 750 mL  $41.95 Score: 93/100. July 21, 2012 Top Rated Red Wine. Full Review
Henri De Villamont Les Évocelles Gevrey-Chambertin Pinot Noir 2009, A.C., Burgundy, France: In real estate it's location, location, location. In wine, it's increasingly texture, texture, texture. This feels like sliding on a cool silk dress over a sun-warmed body, head first down to angles. It brushes all the senses lightly, teasing and drawing you back to the glass. Satin cherries, some spice and medium- to full weight though never heavy or chafing. Drink: 2012-2018. 279042 13.50% XD 750 mL  $42.95 Score: 95/100. September 15, 2012 Top Rated Red Wine. Gemma Giblin Riserva Barolo 2005, D.O.C.G., Piedmont, Italy: Superb! Big tannic grip but gorgeous flavours flow in and around that dry feeling with juicy dried cherries and leather and smoke. Full-bodied with an incredibly long finish. 185025 14% D 750 mL  $49.95 Score: 95/100. June 23, 2012 Top Rated Red Wine. Full Review
Burgo Viejo Gran Reserva Tempranillo 2001, D.O.C.A., Rioja, Spain: Lovely mature flavours: leather, spice, cigar box, quiet conversation. Full-bodied and smooth but not "fruity" - what a relief. Wine for adults. 190611 13.50% XD 750 mL  $22.75 Score: 90/100. August 4, 2012 Full Review
