Versado Malbec 2014, Mendoza, Argentina: Owner and winemaking consultant Peter Gamble and chief winemaker Roberto de la Mota have created a blockbuster Argentine red for the 2014 vintage. Made from the iconic Malbec grape, this wine underwent a spontaneous fermentation, rather than one induced by the winemaker with specific yeasts. The wine was aged in oak barrels. This is another gorgeous red wine from Versado - this wine and winemaker perform consistently well every year. Aromas of fleshy black fruit, dried herbs, spices and pepper. Pair with grilled lamb. Luigi Bosca Single Vineyard Malbec 2013, Luján De Cuyo, Argentina: This wine gets better every year! Fleshy blackberry, plum, pencil led and violets on the nose with racy acidity. Full-bodied, smooth and luscious. The DOC of Lujan de Cuyo in Mendoza was created in 1989 to protect the Malbec grape. The vines are planted at 960 metres above sea level. The vineyard is 90 years old. The wine was aged for 14 months in oak barrels. Decant 1 hour and pair with grilled meats. Drink: 2017-2021. 74922 14% XD 750 mL  $29.95 Score: 92/100. Château Devise D'ardilley 2012, Haut-Médoc, Bordeaux A.C., France: A spectacular Bordeaux from a superb vintage. This baby needs serious cellar time. Tannic and tightly wound, this will reward patience and decanting. Aromas of cassis and blackberry. A terrific and beautifully balanced Bordeaux red wine blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes from the strong 2012 vintage. Could use some cellar time. Aromas of black fruit and toasty oak. Gérard Bertrand Gris Blanc Rosé 2015, Pays D'oc, Midi I.G.P., France: A pale ballet slipper pink, almost crystalline transparency in the glass. This southern French rosé is made from Grenache Noir and Grenache Gris grapes, thus Gris Blanc (grey-white) are hand-picked in the Roussillon region located in Tautavel between the Mediterranean sea and the Pyrenees mountains. The wine is matured on the fine lees for several weeks before bottling. Lovely mouth-watering acidity for fresh seafood salads.
