Château Pontet-Canet 5E Cru Meritage 2008, A.C., Pauillac, Bordeaux, France: Terrific but very pricey and I think that some reviews have been over zealous. Classic nose, good juiciness, full-bodied rich texture with dark fruit. Terrific wine, but I’d buy 4 of some of the other Bordeaux reviewed here instead for the same money.
