Small Gully The Formula Robert's Shiraz 2010, South Australia, Australia: A rich, full-throttle Australian red wine that weighs in at a staggering 15.9% (why not round up?) Nonetheless it doesn't taste hot or out of balance as it has the fruit and structure to support that alcohol. Here's your go-to red when you want the most "bang" for your buck. Beats vodka by a long shot. Drink: 2012-2017. 142935 15.90% D 750 mL  $18.95 Score: 90/100. October 16, 2014 Best Value Red Wine. Heavenly Hamburger Wine Full Review

La Crema Chardonnay 2012, Sonoma Coast, California, United States: Sonoma Coast vineyards enjoy a long, cool growing season due to the moderating influence of the Pacific Ocean, and its fogs and winds that blow inland. This is perfect for slowly ripening grapes to develop complex flavours and nuances without lots of sugar that translates to heavy alcohol. Classic Californian Chardonnay with toast, oak and green apple on the nose. Full-bodied, and generously layered. Generous flavours of pear and peach on the palate with a long, dry finish and a hint of wild white flowers in a spring rain. Perfect for roast chicken or mild curries. This wine is matured in both new and seasoned French and American oak for seven months which rounds out the package with a toasty finish. Drink: 2013-2016. 962886 13.90% D 750 mL  $28.95 Score: 91/100. November 8, 2014 Top Rated White Wine. Perfect Pasta and Tomato Sauce Wine Full Review
