Red Wine

Finca Flichman Expresiones Reserve Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon 2011, Mendoza, Argentina: This winery sources all of its grapes from estate vineyards and the harvesting is done by hand. This Shiraz (60%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (40%) blend spends 8 months in American and French oak, which imparts depth and richness to the wine, along with toasty oak and vanilla smoke aromas. Lots of dark fruit to fill out all the spaces in this wine. Rich and fleshy black and purple plum flavours on this finish. A crowd pleaser. Drink: 2012-2016. 17111 14.50% XD 750 mL  $15.95 Score: 89/100. June 7, 2014 Best Value Red Wine. Best Beef Wine Full Review

Sparkling Wine

Armand De Brignac Brut Gold Champagne, Champagne A.C., France: This elegant sparkling wine from Champagne comes in lacquered bottle and gift box -- very blingy package that would make Jay-Z forget the spat with Beyonce's sister Solange. Toasty, robust and tasty. Pricey yes, but they're throwing in the gold for free ;) Drink: 2013-2018. 220244 12.50% D 750 mL  $299.95 Score: 91/100. June 7, 2014 Gorgeous Gift Wine Full Review
