Red Wine

Georges Duboeuf Gamay Nouveau 2013, Beaujolais, France: Bright and cheery and meant for quaffing bistro-style. Tart cherries, smooth with juicy, mouth-watering acidity for food. Drink now Drink: 2013-2013. 891846 12.50% D 750 mL  $9.95 Score: 85/100. November 1, 2013 Full Review

White Wine

Coopers Creek Sauvignon Blanc 2012, Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand: Grassy and herbal but not overly so in this zesty, well-respected New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Finishes with lime lift and zest. Even the acids are well balanced here. I smell vegetarian quiche. I'm hungry (and thirsty). Drink: 2013-2015. 957407 13% XD 750 mL  $18.95 Score: 89/100.
