Perrin & Fils Les Sinards 2009, Châteauneuf-Du-Pape, Rhône, France: This robust red offers pure black cherry liqueur flavour and concentration, yet finishes dry and satisfying. William Fèvre Saint-Bris Sauvignon Blanc 2011, A.C., Burgundy, France: Clean, green apple brightness on the nose and acidity on the palate. No oak, very refreshing. Tyrrell's Wines Brookdale Semillon 2012, Hunter Valley, New South Wales, Australia: Lemon freshness in a glass with a lovely rich lanolin texture. The perfect wine that is stylistically between sauvignon blanc and chardonnay. The grapes for this wine come from a single vineyard, the Pokolbin Hills Estate vineyard. Lots of lemon and lime on the finish. Drink with fresh seafood or shellfish. Semillon food pairings: seafood, salads, Asian Dishes, biscotti, pasta with cheese-based sauce.
