This week's wine picks has some terrific Italian and Spanish wines for fall and holiday entertaining as well as some bargain bubblies for those larger gatherings.

For holiday dining out, pick up a copy of the new guide to Canada's Best Restaurants from Maclean's Magazine, just hitting newsstands. Lots of great new places to try.

I loved being part of the review team and working with the talented editor Jacob Richler (Mordecai's son immortalized in the Jacob Two-Two books).

Our second Canadian wine and cheese video tasting on Google + this week was such fun! We incorporated more wine pairing tips and some interesting background on the cheeses.
