Are you giving an e-reader to someone this holiday, or perhaps getting one for yourself? Maybe you (and they) already have one and you'd like to give them something to read on it.

A tipsy little bird told me that one of Amazon's Best Books of 2011 is now available on Amazon Kindle (also reads well on Apple's iPad with the Kindle app from iTunes), Chapters/Indigo Kobo and Sony eReader.  

Yes, I know this means giving up crowded stores and long line-ups, but you can watch that excitement on TV as you wrap up your holiday shopping with a few clicks, perhaps bundling the book with a gift subscription to my wine reviews. (You're so thoughtful.)

If you're quaintly old-fashioned like me when it comes to books, you can buy the physical hardcover. (These stores have signed copies.)

If the prospect of holiday shopping is making you feel like having a drink (or two), I've posted my favourite wines coming out in the liquor store. Even Santa's helpers need more than milk and cookies :)
