                                                                                                             November 25, 2016
Hi [Contact.First Name],

This morning, I tried to replicate the Black Friday shopping experience by hurling myself against a wall several times, then I ordered online.

On that theme, you'll find lots of bargain-priced wines among my latest picks now available in:

BC Liquor Stores (store stock), AlbertaLCBO (stock), SAQ (stock), NBNSCanada

Meanwhile, boxed wines are always a deal compared to their bottled brethren, but they're no longer all plonk, as we discover on CTV's national breakfast show, Your Morning (video below).

Speaking of Plonk, a witty wine video series brings all of these themes together, puncturing the snobbery of blind tasting. I'll drink to that!

P.S. Join us here on Facebook Live Video this Sunday at 6 pm eastern

*** We'll be tasting Prosecco, that classic Italian sparkling wine, for the holidays ***

Mark your calendar, grab a glass of great vino, and join the fun!

Hilarious Wine Videos Expose the Folly of Blind Tasting

My favourite scene in the online wine video series Plonk is when the host gets Rocky-style training on how to taste wine blindly with the bottle's label concealed.

Next is the big showdown taste-off with his wine-knowledgeable friend, deftly parodying the notion of blind tasting as a proving ground for wine expertise.

Blind tasting to identify a wine, especially as a public parlour game, is what puts the snobbery back into the bottle ...
