Well, I wouldn't guess this wine to be a Châteauneuf-du-Pape (CdP). For me, a bit "too gentle" for a CdP. The flavors of Grenache are noticable (a good thing). Medium body. showing its 10 years of age with a bit of brown rim edges. Well integrated flavors of oak and dried fruit and a gentle spicey finish. Again, all on the very mild side. Decant it for an hour prior to drinking.
