|Reverse Wine Snob reviewed this wine as follows:|
The 2009 Bodega Colome Amalaya exhibits ripe fruit (blueberry?), floral scents, and some pepper on the nose. The palate shows cherries, and a bit of tobacco with prominent but smooth tannins and a nice finish. The Cabernet, Syrah, and Tannat give this wine an added sophistication that goes beyond your standard Malbec. Definitely a wine to seek out and give a try!
