Mymi Thesingingsommelier rated this wine as 82/100 with the following review:

The Bonarda varietal is certainly not as famous as Malbec but totally worth a try!
Although experts are divided as to its origin, they theorize that it came to Argentina as Bonarda Piemontese in the 19th century via Italian immigrants.
Silvia Corti, Argento's winemaker, is also Italian, grew up in Mendoza and like most Italian families, they made their own wine!
Argento's Bonarda vineyards are located in the Andes Mountains where they enjoy a high altitude desert climate, intense sunlight exposure and are irrigated by pure glacial melt water.
So what does all of that translate to in terms of wine?
It has a purple-ish blue ruby color and slow moving, syrupy legs!
In the nose, fresh raspberries, strawberry yogurt chews, candied beets and a touch of wet earth.
It is dry and round on the palate with soft tannins, low acidity, tobacco, dark dark chocolate, even bing cherry ice cream!
What to drink this with?
Roasted squash soup with multi-grain baguette, hoisin chicken noodles, sweet and sour pork or caramelized onion risotto...
Yummy!
