Julia Kelada rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

We all know this is no new wine name! I was introduced to this vine yard when I started enjoying more refined wines, building up my repertoire , climbing higher and higher up the ladder of elegant wines. On my way up, I forgot these wines that stood by me in good stead. They never let me down and delivered on high quality and good taste, time and time again. Recently at a dinner party I had a glass of the 2011 Merlot and I smiled that smile of a welcome you would give to a dear old friend!
Yes, this wine is classic and still as delicious as always .

On the nose there are cherries and plums, cedar, chocolate and spice.
On the palate there are rich delicious cherries, plums, black currants and rose hip. Cedar tones are presented and then followed by spices of nutmeg and Cinamon. There is an aged leather note followed by a delicate white pepper tone. This wine is dry medium bodied wine with slight undertones of coffee and good length tannins.
I give this a 91

Bottoms up!

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
