Most of you who follow my wine reviews know that I'm a full bodied, full personality type of wine girl. Yes I do judge a book by its cover, and I did really like the look of this bottle. This is a good wine, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it at all, not ever day do I need to feel packed between the eyes by a wine! This wine is full bodied, yet discreet. It definatly has a good personality and is a delicious wine just like that, no food needed!!!! So this wine is a hit. It is more delicate on its deliverance of its fruits and flavours.
It has a good depth of colour, rich and ruby red.
On the nose it delivers character, pleanty of fruit, cherries, blueberries and raspberries . A subtle hint of spice and licorice
On the palate this starts off with a deliverance of red fruits, red cherries, strawberries, raspberries. yet it is full bodied and smooth all at the same time. there is an underlying hint of tobacco embraced in spice before the woody oak finish of medium length tannins.

A great wine for the price.
