Julia Kelada rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

I'm not usually this fickle...but I fell in love with the label of this wine and simply had to buy, also with the reassurance from my sommelier that it was my type of wine! He knows me so well!!!!
I has read a lot of reviews on this wine and each and every one of them were simply singing it's praises! I know why!
This to me, although $27.40 is one of those diamonds in the rough. I would pay more for this wine and still be satisfied.
On the nose I could smell warm silky vanilla, butter caramel....interesting....then red cherries and red currants.
On the palate, delicate introduction of of soft red fruits, this is a medium full bodied wine and I found it perfectly refreshing and a wonderful wine to start an evening with. Lively acidity, sour cherries softening into ripe red currants with a hint of blackberries and then a balsamic introduction. This wine has a medium length tannin but it extremely enjoyable. I liked it's youth and found this a pleasant change.

Bottoms up!

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
