Price: $30.00
Sweetness: Dry
Alcohol: 12%

Drink: 2013-2016

Bottle size: 750 ml
Winery: Kim Crawford

Dan Carkner reviewed this wine as follows:

60% Pinot noir, 40% Chardonnay, vinified in the traditional method.
Small production and careful vinification result in a balanced wine sure to please bubbly fans. Classic aromas of Asian pear and bruised apple are complemented by chalky minerality and yeasty notes. Fine bubbles and flavors of cooked orchard fruit persist through the finish.
A dry style sparkler well aged on its lees (42 months!) this offering is fantastic as an apperatif but is just in time to pair with fall fare featuring roasted apple and pear.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
