|Susan Desjardins reviewed this wine as follows:|
Semi-transparent ruby-garnet, the wine offers intriguing complex aromas of cherry, raspberry, beetroot, dried herbs and a smokyy cedar note. Dry, medium bodied, the spice cherry/berry fruit and earthy, mineral character is well framed by lively acidity and silky tannins. There’s attractive warmth through the palate and a juicy, fresh persistent finish. Nicely balanced and cellarable, this wine pairs well with the earthy flavours of Avonlea Clothbound Cheddar.
