Tasting Note: VC: A blend of 55% Syrah and 45% Grenache, this Nîmes wine is filled with blackberry, soft spice, vanilla bean and underbrush aromas and flavours. Dry and appealing with fine fruit surrounded by gentle tannins and a hint of refreshing acidity. A great value from an up-and-coming region. My note: A tasty, full-bodied red with generous notes of black raspberries and blackberries. Supple with a satisfyingly long finish. Immeniently gulpable.
More pairings: bean-based dishes, beef bourguignonne, beef: roast rare, lamb chops, steaks, lamb korma, mackerel, sauce: indian curry: southeast asia.
