A five hour lunch on the slopes of Vesuvius with the vintner of Lacrima Christi (7 courses, 7 bottles of wine each)

Which wine do you love at the moment?
I find great value in various Spanish Tempranillos for red, off-dry Gewurztraminers for light whites, and champagne.


Was the foodwriter and restaurant critic for The Toronto Star for most of the 1980s but have been a restaurant consultant since 1989.
