Most memorable wine?
Well maybe the one above, or perhaps the Baby Duck I had behind the high school portable. Ouch!

What was your first wine?
My first wine was a brunello, which I described in my first book. Very sensual: got me into wine!

What’s your most unusual wine experience?
When I went shark diving in South Africa, then paired wine with seafood for my new book Unquenchable.

Which wine do you love at the moment?
Pinot Noir, now, then and always!
