I'm usually not a big fan of Rioja, but this is one of the best ones I've had at the $30 range. The wine is aromatic and full of pure black fruits. Complex palate, juicy, and excellent balance of acid and tannin. Let it open in the glass for 30min. It is drinking perfectly alone by itself!

Decanted for 2 hours and drank over 3 hours. In the beginning, the wine showed more herbal notes, eucalyptus, and very grippy rustic tannin on the finish. At the 2 hour mark, it started to show dark chocolate, mocha, tobacco profiles. It's rich but not overly sweet. Very good structure, complex, and the tannin was fully integrated by the 4th hour.

OMG! This is probably the best California Cab you can find for this price. At $60 at LCBO, this wine has everything you wish for for an old-school California cab. It is not overly oaked and has the Sonoma-characteristics of green pepper and freshness. Big structure, long fish, and grippy tannin. I would guess this is a $100+ cab at a blind tasting. Definitely, a wine to keep for 10+ years.

love this wine. not overly sweet (8.2 residual sugar) and with good balance of acid. Aromas of lime and a touch of floral aromas. A nice wine to start the meal in the summer

wow, what a great value for a paso robles cab at $21!! Not over oaky and vanilla! just the right amount of mint, freshness on the aroma. juicy, medium structure, and medium finish on the palate. This can be go-to california cab without breaking the bank!
