A pleasant Pinot loaded with can-cherry flavours. I prefer Pinots with higher acidity and found this one lacking in that area. It's quite enjoyable and pairs very well veal casseroles. Tasted May 2019 by @sommsosa

Oh so good. Stewed black plums, faint leathery aromas and sumptuous raspberry-cassis dark chocolate flavours. Flavours are yummy and juicy with a silky smooth mouthfeel and pairs very well with fig balsamic-glazed BBQed portobello mushrooms. Tasted April 2019 by @sommsosa.

I have yet to find one. However, I can tell you what my most memorable dram was! That is the 25yr Highland Park. It is just out of this world good!

Hmmm. Probably something from Beringer. It was one of the few bottles that somehow made it to the hot humid shores of Belize.

Unusual Wine Experience

The day I can truly pinpoint my passion for wine! (Before my wine geek days) I politely asked the winemaker at Gibbston Valley Winery, in Central Otago, New Zealand, if they are making their 2010 vintage rose from blending red wine with white wine..... He said no, thats not how they work.... now I know better.
