my interest for wine began at an Ottawa Wine & Food show. it tickled me that I could sip and savour for a living. almost immediately, I signed up for my first course, Wine Tasting, in the Sommelier Certificate program at Algonquin College. I was hooked ... and eventually graduated December 2010. I received "pass with distinction" for Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Advanced Level 3 certificate course.I love that wine brings together history, geography, chemistry and so much more. the information and education is never ending. perfect for a restless mind. mostly, I love that wine brings friends together. in this crazy life of ups and downs, one needs to ... sit. sip. savour. best done with good wine, good friends ... oh and cheese. let us not forget cheese!
