It's not from a specific region in California but this small lot Zinfandel has a richness and full bodied taste that rivals some higher end Zins. Deep dark red in colour with aromas of spice, dark currant fruit and some cedar. Flavours of raspberry jam, blackberry and some vanilla with a medium to long jammy finish. Excellent choice for BBQ beef.

You don't get many Chardonnay's from Puglia Italy so I was intrigued by this 2014 Chardonnay to see how it stands up to similar varietals. It has a pale yellow colour with a slight green tinge and aromas of citrus, pear and apple. A slight effervescence on the palate with some golden yellow apple and pineapple flavours. It's crisp and refreshing with minimal oak and a medium citrus finish. The obvious choice here is to pair this Chardonnay with seafood
