Dr. Vino: A wine politics specialist and oenophile (a.k.a. wine geek) welcomes you to his informative yet light-hearted free website with independent wine picks, views on wine politics, and more.

Drinks Are On Me: Dale Cruse, a website developer, likes to eat, drink and write about both. Based in Norwood, MA.

Eat Drink Dine: This site offers suggestions on matching wine to more than five hundred dishes. It goes beyond the basics of what to drink with chicken, for example, and has specific suggestions based on how the chicken is cooked: whether barbecued, as coq au vin or in a butter, cream, satay or teriyaki sauce. You can search for either a dish to match your wine or a wine to match your dish. If you don't find exactly what you want, you can e-mail the site for an answer. Even though the site is sponsored by Seagram's, and the wines recommended are (not surprisingly) those that they make or import, there is still lots of useful information on wine styles and food flavors.

Eat Well, Drink Better: Wine educator John McNulty's website which features advice on wine and a list of Philadelphia's best BYOB restaurants.

First Click Resource Centre: An interactive, membership-driven portal dedicated to bringing the global cool climate grape and wine industry community closer through enhanced communication channels. Jancis Robinson: Jancis Robinson, the first lady of wine and my favorite wine writer, posts her witty, thought-provoking columns from the Financial Times of London on her site for free. Nirvino Wine Reviews: A collection of wine reviews and wine ratings from wine critics around the world. We attempt to catalog every review and rating available for the wines in our database.
