During the spring, summer, and fall Tinhorn Creek Vineyards offers various events from relaxed barbecues to Shakespearean plays in an outdoor amphitheatre set amid the vines. No event is more anticipated by the locals than the Tinhorn Creek Canadian Concert Series.
Every year for the past 10 years, we have brought in bands for both locals and visitors to enjoy. On the fourth Saturday of each month from May to August you will find the Tinhorn Creek amphitheatre packed with concert goers enjoying live music while sipping the award-winning wines of Tinhorn Creek. It is one of the best entertainment experiences in the Okanagan set against the backdrop of the scenic South Okanagan Valley.
The 2010 Concert Series features a varied line-up of musical stylings from Jack de Keyzer (May 22nd), The Dudes (June 26th), Wide Mouth Mason (July 24th), and Dustin Bentall (August 28th). To wrap up the series with our Grand Finale Concert, we bring in a Canadian band that is topping the charts. This year, on September 11th, that Canadian band is Bedouin Soundclash.
Tickets for all concerts are only available through the winery (1.888.484.6467). A Season’s Pass includes the concerts from May to August and is $100 per pass. Individual concerts from May to August are $35 each*. Additional tickets are released on the first of each month for that month’s concert. Tickets for Bedouin Soundclash are only $75 and are also available at the winery.
This summer in amongst the concerts, Shakespearean plays will once again be performed in our amphitheatre. On July 30th & 31st the Shakespeare Company is performing Love’s Labour’s Lost.
This fall will see our Crush Club Members pack the amphitheatre for our annual Pick-Up Party during the Okanagan Fall Wine Festival. It’s an afternoon filled with wine, food, music, and prizes and is exclusive to our Crush Club Members. Also during the Fall Wine Festival we have our Vineyard & Habitat Family Hike on October 4, 5, & 6. A new event for this year is our Oldfield Series Tasting & Blending Seminar on October 9th.
Can’t make it out the winery to visit? We might just be coming to see you instead. We love to come to various cities with our wines! On May 26th we will be in Vancouver for Wine Tasting with a Social Twist. We love Twitter, Facebook, YouTube & Linked In and thought why not combine them with wine!
